When you look around our
community, you see a lot of
great leaders and locals making
an impact on Troup County.
This year, we are excited to present
to the community the third annual 20
under 40 magazine. There were hundreds
of nominations this year, and narrowing
it down to 20 was no easy task.
When I first met Nick Griffin, he was
working on making sure a student knew
where their next meal was coming from.
When I first met Brandon Todd, he
was overcoming a major life change and
creating a new business.
When I first met Leslie Traylor, she
was facing major challenges and a small
crisis with poise and grace. When I first
met Corey Faulkner, he was becoming
one of the top videographers in our
community.
The list could go on.
But it is people like this, people who
are leaders, developers, mentors and
more in our community who earn a spot
in the annual 20 under 40 edition.
Our edition this year features, barbers,
healthcare workers, people of faith,
teachers, and coaches who work on and
off the field to develop our next generation.
Our staff got to know each one of
these honorees in the process of learning
their stories. We are blown away by the
amount of talent and leadership that
sits right under our noses here in Troup
County.
We hope you enjoy reading their stories,
and getting to know our 2020 honorees
as much as we have.
This is an amazing group of leaders in
our community. We hope this inspires
you like we were, and maybe next year
you’ll see your own face grace a page.
