NEW
YEAR,
NEW
STYLE!
2013 was a great year for fashion, but it looks like 2014 is going to be just as, if not
more, stylish and fun! Here are our tips to edit your wardrobe for the New Year.
1. Organize - If you’re anything like us, your bedroom probably doubles as a walk-in closet. What better way to see what you
have than folding, hanging and organizing? Fold jeans, knitted sweaters and thin cardigans (to prevent stretching!), and hang
blazers, jackets, shirts, and dresses. A closet organizer is your best friend!
2. Review - Now that your closet is organized you’ll be able to see what areas need attention. 20 dresses but only 1 pair of jeans?
Monochromatic wardrobe? Consider all of this so you can…
3. Edit - Enlists some friends to help you decide what does and doesn’t work. Try everything on (yes, everything) and create “Yes”,
“No”, and “Maybe” piles to sort it all out.
4. Donate - You’re a fashionista; anyone would be thrilled to own even one item from your wardrobe! Look at what you haven’t
worn in the last year or what doesn’t fit to decide what is no longer necessary.
5. Play - Make the most of your fabulous wardrobe; break out that new blazer, buy that perfect pair of heels to match and try out
some new fashion trends!
