With great and lengthy anticipation, summer 2014 is finally around the corner. Now
that the vexatious cold weather
is behind us, we can finally say
hello to our long lost and widely
missed friend—the sun. Given
the rising temperatures and the
bright outdoors, our winter-ridden closets are starting to look
a bit drab. So, fashion extroverts, it is finally time to rejoice!
The trends of summer 2014 are
promising to be the most bold,
colorful and creative ones yet.
In terms of this segment, I’ll be

Luckily for us, an array of summertime colors (including pastels)
reigned throughout this year’s
summer collections at NYFW,
and designers are on a mission to please as they taunt and
