It ’ s the countdown to Christmas and instead of a traditional advent calendar , lets begin each December day with a different kind of calendar – don ’ t worry , there ’ s still chocolate ! Using envelopes stuffed with good deeds to complete and chocolate coins , we ’ re going to make some fabulous festive bunting – so it ’ ll double up as a homemade Christmas decoration too – genius !

GET STARTED
STEP 1 :
First you need to prepare your envelopes . Number each envelope from 1 all the way to 25 . Next , decorate ! Really go to town on these ; colours , biodegradeable glitter and sequins – go FULL CHRISTMAS .
STEP 2 :
The envelopes will contain a good deed to complete and a chocolate coin reward . It ’ s up to you to decide if there will be a good deed and / or a chocolate coin in every single envelope . If you share this activity with a sibling you could do 12 each and the number 25 envelope could contain a Christmas greeting for someone special ! It might be hard to think of 25 good deeds , here ’ s some ideas to start you off :
Pay someone a compliment Donate a toy to a local charity Paint a pebble for others to find Take food to your local Foodbank Check in with elderly neighbours Take on a new chore to help at home o
