1st Meeting Iceland | Page 2

Welcome to My City / COCI– 1st meeting in Reykjavik 6 – 12 Nov 2016 Finland and Portugal seem to have problems with their budgets due to lack of sufficient funding for the transnational meetings. It seems that they cannot mix the funding for the transnational and the LTT meetings There seem to be different rules concerning the use of the funding due to countries. At the end of the day though we all got similar funding. Coordinators agreed that during mobilities, most of the cost and expenses for participants such as local transportation, excursions and entry fares is to be covered by each school out of their own project budget. Number of teachers and students in mobilities Participants agreed that the total number of students should remain 11 as in the application. While the application allows for payments for 7 teachers, participants consider it advisable to send at least 2 teachers to each mobility. Project website The country responsible for the website is Turkey as Adil has kindly agreed to taking care of it. The website will contain different information about the project, project documents, results of the project will be presented there, photo gallery, links to school websites, Facebook accounts, etc. But perhaps most importantly, it will offer a clear and easy access to all the key activities of the projects. All material that students make must be sent either to Adil or Bertha (who will then send it to Adil) or put on the website where Adil has access to it. Everything we do is put on the website and youtube. Logo The Erasmus+ logo should be on everything we make, be it in written or spoken form such as videos and youtube. One of the tasks assigned to students before the first meeting in Reykjavik was to design a logo and bring to the first mobility. The meeting decided to let the students choose the logo they think should be the project logo at the end of the mobility in Reykjavik. The winning project will then be on all material made in the project, while each school can also make use of their project for specific purposed. Student presentations Participants agreed that the time limit for presentations should be 10-15 minutes unless otherwise noted. Friday 11 Nov 2016 Logo The logo made by the German students was the winning logo in the contest for the logo of the project and will accordingly be used in the header together with the Erasmus+ logo.
