The A Dream, is a sophisticated urban clothing label, well known
as its street name (African Dream). The local kasi brand relate
and resonate with all types of personalities and image with its
extraordinary unique designs. The established back then in 2014
as a street expression movement aimed at embracing and
harnessing the (“DIY”) spirit, with a hope to inspire personal
image and character as well as ego boost. The clothing brand
has the sole purpose of being one of the local popular township
brand that represent Mzansi and Africa within the international
market and fashion shows in the global scale. The co-founders of
the A-Dream consider it as an apparel brand that will influence
South African clothing and fashion industry in a way that it
reduces imports to be at least 80% local -20% imports.
The brand has that reinforced ability to cater for all different:
sexes; races, taste, personality, moods, character and age
groups with that sense of humour… simply makes everyone’s
dream come true, hence people who have witnessed it call it
“African Dream”.
Unlike ordinary international brands that decides on what you
might like to have or wear, the A Dream wants you to decide on
what you like or prefer to wear hence their USP “We won’t rest
until we have made your day, the perfect one”. The A Dream
mostly specialise in exclusive custom and tailor made designs
that are presented by clients before them.
