WHO IS SOLLY KAMOGELO MOSETA?
Solly Kamogelo Moseta is a Gospel recording artist who has
recorded 36 songs all in all within gospel genre. He was born in
13 February 1992 at Winterveldt and his parents was Johanna
Moseta and Aaron Smango. He is the first born to his parents
and they are three children.
WHEN AND HOW DID SOLLY MOSETA STARTED TO
REALISE THAT HE COULD SING?
I started to realise MY passion for music age the age of (6) 1998,
he was residing at Mahareng ‘Mmametlhake’ and he left the
place in 2001 to Stinkwater ‘Hammanskraal’. He started singing
‘lefila tsa sion’ and acting strange by climbing houses, trees and
laundry tubs. I am an MC, Motivational Speaker and Radio
Deejay.
HOW DID YOU GET THE NAME ‘YELLOWBONE’?
I had friends at a place called Hammanskraal where I use to
reside at, we used to call each other ‘yellow bone’ and to me it
started to brand me. I am yellow inside and black on the outside.
That’s how I gave myself ‘yellowbone’.
WHO DO YOU WORK WITH AND HOW DID
YOU MEET WITH THEM?
WHEN WAS YOUR FIRST RECORDING AND WITH WHOM?
I started recording in R’nB group called ‘Everlasting brothers’
under Modern Records and in was in 2010. By then I was doing
Afro pop and we were separated through a radio interview at
Radio Sosha. After that interview I realised that Afro Pop was not
my thing and I started to venture in gospel. I met with Cry
Makena, he is a gospel singer and he head one of my song
called ‘dinaledi’. He asked me a very simple question which was
“Solly which music do love and prefer?” The year was 2013 in
December and he told me that before the year end I must drop a
single called ‘Wa halela’ ft Cry Makena. I’m currently working alone but I have a
working relationship with are Rocker Da
Beat, Orange Room, IPM Media and
Mahlalela Entertainment Production. I met
with Solly Mosibi ‘Rocker Da Beat’ at church
revival service, with Orange Room we met
through auditions, IPM Media called me and
booked me as a Deejay and MC and with
Mahlalela Entertainment Production we met
at Rocker Da Beat studio’s through radio
adverts.
WHAT MADE YOU TO SWITCH TO BACADI? FACTS ABOUT SOLLY MOSETA
I’m a blended recording artist to showcase my skills and ability.
as a radio presenter/deejay, people expect me to perform in
environment that doesn’t allow me to do or perform gospel.
WHEN AND HOW DID YOU START WORKING AT SOSH FM?
I started by attending audition in 2014 December and I got a call-
back in March 2015. I finished working at Soshanguve FM in July
2017 and I think it was Wednesday.

WHAT ARE YOUR FUTURE PLANS?
I want to do my own TV channel but before that I want to see
