It is almost three months of the Movement Control Order (MCO) in Malaysia, and we have seen our share of the bad and the good that should’ve convinced all of us to be staying at home by now. But no one can deny it because the struggle is real, and we are all trying our best to stay put without going bored. This naturally means that the funny part of the internet has come out to play with all the free time we have now. Since the hashtag #stayathome is now trending, Malaysians are doing while staying at home for much needed chuckles that prove that we are truly all in this together. Staying in cooped up at home can be taxing and a little tiresome. But in this period of a pandemic, it is also necessary. Here are some things that Malaysian people were pursued during this Movement Control Order. While it isn’t very pleasant being forced to stay indoors, many of us can consider ourselves lucky that we are ‘trapped’ comfortably in our own homes. And as we idle about the house with not much to do, we suddenly find that we have been handed ‘too’ much time. With more time in our hands, there are some productive things we can do while on MCO. Firstly, is workout from home. Health is important but remember not to go outside to jog or doing any outdoor activities. In all seriousness, basic health routines do not require too much. A quick search on Youtube and Google is to get feasible workout ideas which we can do at home, ranging from heart-pumping High-intensity Interval Training (HIIT) to milder, less vigorous exercise.
