Competing for the trophy sponsored by the
VOICE magazine, the winner of this well-filled
class was EBONY’S BELLE for owner Billy Hale
of Gallatin. Billy, who owns the 1962 World
Grand Champion EBONY MASTERPIECE now
standing at stud, was justly proud of his entry
and her sire. The reserve tie went to KERCHE'S
EBONY DREAM for owner Mrs. F. C. Musgravc
of Lewisburg. This coll tied first last year in the
Celebration Weanling Filly Class. The third-place
winner was EBONY'S MAID H.. also owned by
Billy Hale of Gallatin. The three judges selected
13 horses for the final judging from the total
entry of over 70 horses.

winner of this class as he attracted two first-
place votes and one reserve tie. The coll is own
ed by C. L. Kline of Robbins and was selected
from the final workout of 14 horse s. Reserve
champion of this class was ROYAL HEIR'S SEN
ATOR. owned by Sid Maddox of Cookeville. The
number three choice of the judges out of more
than 90 entries was TRAYEI.IN MAN, owned by
Lynch and Lasseter of Murfreesboro. The large
turnout of colls in this class emphasized the
growing interest in the exhibiting of the young
horses of the breed and the crowd responded
warmly to the efforts of the exhibitors.

for the honors. The judges picked GO BOY S

first for owners Mr. and Mrs. Hall McNabb of
Readyville. This entry received the first-place
vote of one judge and the referee. Reserve hon
ors were won by MY MIDNIGHT SUNBEAM LM
and SHADOW'S MISS SUNBEAM for Mr. and
Mrs. H. C. Bailey of Jackson, Mississippi. This
entry attracted the first-place vote of one judge.
Tying third were OMA'S LOVELY LADY and
PARADE STARLET for Ed Carothers, Franklin.
