few: GO BOY’S LADY KIM, the black four-year-old mare of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Cashion’s, seems to get better each year; SUN’S PROMENADER, owned by Forest Margraves of Union, Kentucky, will be shown in three-year-old classes this season. He’s black and coming on strong. At a recent show in Columbiana, Doug won two blues: one with a filly, MACK K’S SPEEDWAY, owned by J. W. Renfroe; the other for Captain E. A. Self, Mobile, Alabama, on GO BOY’S LADY’S MAN in the three-year-old class. Doug will also be showing a three-year-old sorrel mare for J. H. Lamar, HANDSHAKER’S DEBUTANT. On the sale list, Doug has two top amateur or juven ile horses that need no introduction to the show world. Jan Wright will be going to school and has decided to sell SECURITY and GO BOY’S BLACK BARON, and Doug has both of them in top shape for anyone interested in stock that can win. LOWMAN RETURNS TO MTSU After a brief but productive tenure as Assistant Ed itor of the VOICE, Larry Lowman, our Middle Ten nessee Correspondent, is returning to Middle Tennes see State University in June to continue his studies. Larry worked with the VOICE for three months and was successful in making several important trips. He covered the Florida Circuit for the magazine and did an excellent job. We regret that he had to return to college so soon, but look forward to the prospect of his working with us again in the future. Larry, who is well-known throughout the Walking Horse business for his show horse activity with Walk- A-By Stables in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, will continue to work and show horses while attending MTSU.
