TRAINERS ASSOCIATION CLINIC PROVES SUCCESSFUL April 10, 1969 marked a day to remember in the annals of Walking Horse history. On this day more thai seventy paying students of our breed gathered at the Ellington Cen­ ter in Nashville, Tennessee, to tap the experience and knowledge of our most eminent experts — the profes­ sional trainers. They came from 24 states and from as far away as Seat­ tle, Washington, to learn about the Tennessee Walking Horse, and learn they did! Most observers noted that the clinic was "mostly basic stuff’ and was well presented by each individual.
