PHONE: 315 -789-1328 COLUMBIA SPRING JUBILEE RECEIVES MIDSOUTH ASSOCIATION’S "HORSE SHOW OF THE YEAR” AWARD One of the highest commendations of the Midsouth Horse Show Association is the "Show of the Year” Award. This award is made after tabulations of cards from the membership and this year it went to the Columbia Spring Jubilee, Columbia, Tennessee. The "Jubilee,” as it is commonly called, is regarded as the most influential Walking Horse Show in the nation, second only to the Celebration in importance insofar as show horses are concerned. Managed by the Maury County Horsemens Associ­ ation, the 1969 Jubilee promises to again be a good V. G. GOCHNEAUR RECEIVES A. H. S. A. AWARD WITH MR. F. T. T. - 1968 HORSE OF THE YEAR One of the highlights of the annual American Horse Shows Association meeting is the naming of the A. H.S. A. "Horse of the Year” award in the Walking Horse category. The winner for 1968 was MR. F. T. T., an out­ standing sorrel stallion owned and shown by V. G. "Red” Gochneaur of Aurora, Ohio, and trained by Albert Rowland. Mr. Gochneaur is owner of Fashion Two Twenty Stables and has owned and shown Tennessee Walking Horses for many years. In amassing sufficient points to win this highly competitive award, Mr. Gochneaur showed MR. F. T. T. at A.H.S.A. shows all over the nation, including the deep south.
