HANDSHAKER’S GTO is one of
the best two-year-olds to be sold
at auction. Broke and trained by
Louis Slone, Dixon, Missouri, the
trainer who made HANDSHAKER’S
DELIGHT, this colt not only can
“walk a hole in the ground,’’ but
has air and bloom that few colts
possess. Louis started this colt at
Searcy, Arkansas, tying second.
Will he be better than HANDSHAK­
ER’S DELIGHT? We definitely think
so. Back end that skims the ground;
a big front end to match; and head
motion that's hard to beat. We are
proud of HANDSHAKER’S GTO,
and predict a great future for him.
2. HANDSHAKER’S ECHO - Junior black stud sired
by HANDSHAKER. Broke and shown by Doug Wol-
aver in 1967 to win eight blues, second at the Spring
Jubilee, and seventh at the Celebration. First and
second in 1968, and ended his show season by win­
ning three-year-old stake at the Texas State Fair in
Dallas. Shown by Neil Robinson in 1969 to tie first
to fifth all year. Amateur broke, and ready to go.
3. CHANCE’S MERRY BOY - Sorrel three-year-old
stallion, sired by MERRY GO BOY and out of a
MERRY BOY mare. Has won two stakes and one
second in three times out. Amateur broke, and as
good as any three-year-old stud showing today.
4. MIDNIGHT DOCTOR W. - Bay two-year-old
brother to the famous WARLOCK. Sixteen hands
and the image of WARLOCK. Louis Slone, who has

5. SHADOW'S SKY PILOT - Six-year-old gelding
that has been shown for the past two years by
Sharon Terry Love and thirteen-year-old Fletcher

6. SUN DUST SHOW DOWN - Chestnut gelding,
aged six. Shown one time. Ready for professional
and amateur classes. Can fly, and do it right. Could
be the gelding of the year.
