Browning Show Stable in Chapel Hill , North Carolina celebrated the end of a successful 1968 show season with a great Barn Party . Those attending braved the snow and cold to enjoy the warm hospitality of the Brownings , trainer Jerry Derryberry , and members of his staff .
Jerry is very enthusiastic about his new crop of coming-twos . Three of these already working nicely under saddle are a black stud colt owned by the Don Stallings , Rocky Mount ; a nice black filly owned by the Robert Flemings , Louisburg ; and a bay filly owned by the John Feltons , Macclesfield . All three were sired by Willis Fisher ’ s top stud , MIDNIGHT MACK , and the Feltons ’ filly is a full sister to MIKE ’ S MIGHTY RAIDER , the good two-year-old shown so successfully this past year by Kenneth Burke . Mr . and Mrs . Ed Hubbard of Sanford also have two exceptionally nice colts , both sired by MIDNIGHT HAP . One of these is out of the same dam as SUPER SPORT , former World Champion Three-Year-Old Gelding .
