RICHARD PATE STABLES
STALLION
Richard Pate recently moved into a brand-new stable in Collierville , Tennessee . It is not completely finished , but everything is in good enough shape for him to have all his stock there .
Dickie has made several moves in the last few years , but he built this stable to his own specifications and says with pride that his roots are now deep in the soil in West Tennessee . The stable is a fine one indeed , with thirty-one stalls and all the up-to-date conveniences that a training barn requires , including enough property to make a well-rounded training facility .
During the last few months , right in the middle of show season , Dickie has been hard at work on the barn , training , moving , showing , et cetera . However ,
the sale of horses has been better in the past few months than ever before . EBONY ’ S OLD CHARTER and HAWK ’ S MEMORY are just two of the good sales he ’ s made .
Dickie wants everybody to come by and see his new stable . Until he gets his signs up , the easiest way to get there is to get off the Memphis Interstate at the Arlington exit and go south to Eads , Tennessee , then ask for directions . Congratulations , Dickie !
Terry , Columbus , Georgia , the owner . Both of these fine horses are ready to do the big job for Elntore and their proud owners . Frank Metcalf of Sparta is the owner of Elmote ’ s stake horse . MR . GLO , the Reserve World Grand Champion in 1967 , will be trying for the World Grand Champion roses this year . With more growth and more experience , he will certainly give the other contenders a run for their money . " Possum ” would appreciate your support at the Celebration — you ’ ll find him on " that GOOD horse ” in his classes .
WALLACE BRANDON STABLES
