INDIANA WALKING HORSE NEWS WHETHER TOU... by Mrs. Donn Perry The Indiana Walking Horse Association held its first meeting of the year in February. The meeting was well attended, and several gifts were given as door prizes. The Association would like to take this oppor tunity to thank our president, Bob Bickham, for the great job he did on the 1969 Directory. There is a lot of activity at Henry Randall Stables in Indianapolis. In the two-year-old division, Henry has a good selection. TOMCAT R. is an outstanding colt, ready for the showring, that belongs to Billy Randall of Montgomery, Alabama. SUN’S HEIR AP PARENT is another nice two-year-old, owned by Randy Samples of Acton. Henry is working a promising filly by SPIRIT OF MIDNIGHT for Ed Abrams of Rich mond. She has just been started, but she’s coming on strong. For Jim Civils, Henry has a pretty two-year- old, SUN’S TRAVELER AGAIN, and a flashy three- year-old, MERRY BOY’S BLACK SATIN. Henry is working BLUE BARON, another nice two- year-old, for Bill Randolph Motors. Bill also owns GO BOY’S BAY LAD. This aged stallion is doing more than ever and promises to be real trouble for his com petition. ROAN LADY R. is an eye-catching mare owned by Harold Civils. Henry has her in gear and doing everything right. Coy Willis has a good three-year-old in training, MACK K’S REBEL. This is a pretty colt that can go with the best. For Ruel Pennington Henry is preparing a nice aged stud for the amateur classes. Mrs. Sam Johnson has her bay pleasure mare with Henry. This mare is a natural walker and should do well in the pleasure classes. FOR PLEASURE OR EARHIHGS Feed Security VELV-KOTE Keep your horses in top condition.
