NORTH CENTRAL WALKING HORSE BREEDERS FUTURITY Phoenix, Arizona — ending March 2, 1969 Phoenix, Arizona’s A to Z National Horse Show ended on March 2, sending many of the exhibitors back into the rain and mud of California. Some of the stables were unable to return home due to road and bridge wash-outs. The A to Z Show is consider­ ed one of the best on the West Coast Circuit with a beautiful arena under roof with two practice rings. Each exhibitor received invitations to the many social events, the animal zoo, and the Saturday night exhibitors’ party complete with dining and dancing. Trainers, owners and exhibitors came through mud, rain and wind from Michigan to California to par­ ticipate in the Tennessee Walking Horse classes, which were judged by Mr. Edward M. Teater, a Standardbred man from Louisville, Kentucky.
