FOUR-YEAR-OLD WALKING MARES
Bill Bobo made his first show at the Celebration a great success as he won the class aboard EBONY ROSE beating some top contenders, including one ridden by his father. Bill is certainly one of the most promising young horsemen in the business and his success at the Celebration is the result of many hours of work at the barn. The reserve tie was won by HELLO DOLLY C with Harold Kilpatrick doing the riding. Third place went to the pre-show favorite, GO BOY’ S BRENDA LEE. and Buddy Black. Buddy made a good show and received the first place vote of one judge. This horse was later sold through the Sale of Champions.
