THREE-YEAR-OLD WALKING STALLIONS u
Carlton Pitts and GO BOY ' S BLACK ROOSTER won this class with a showing that was not overly exciting but very impressive. Carlton and his " horse stayed on the rail walking while a number or other horses made brilliant passes and then faded. The judges were not unanimous in this class but the large number of top entries made a unanimous choice doubtful. Reserve went to Joe Martin and REFLECTION’ S SHADOW, while GAMBLER’ S CHOICE and Elmore Brock lied third. The two-year-old champion of 1967. DOUBLE DELIGHT 00, was not shown this year.

f / OWNER-AMATEUR LADY RIDERS ^ ON WALKING HORSES, CHAMPIONSHIP STAKE
The first championship stake of the 1968 Celebration was everything one expects of a championship class as Ann Daugette and ROCK-A- BY LADY on the blue ribbon and honors for 19GS. Ann made a strong show to defeat several former champions as she tied first on two judges ' cards. Reserve champion was GO BOY’ S LADY ANN and Karen Cashion, with MONEY- TREE S SHADOW and Laura Brandon third. Any of these fine horses would be a deserving champion, and Ann and her horse are certainly to be commended for fighting off the challenge of such a strong group.
