FOUR-YEAR-OLD WALKING GELDINGS
!. y This class had some top entries and the competition brought the crowd to its feet several times . Winning the top spot was Wallace Brandon on GREGG ’ S PERFECTION . This fine horse has tied high all year but was at his best in this class . The reserve honors were placed on EBONY ’ S OLD CROW and Donald Paschal . This former Two-Year-Old WorldChampion looked real sharp but could not quite upset the bid by Wallace and his horse . Newcomer Bob Cooley and SUN ’ S TROUBLE MAKER were the third place choices . Bob and his horses won a number of ribbons at the show and we should be hearing a great deal more about this young trainer in the future .

y / WALKING MARES , FIVE YEARS OLD
Charlie Bobo and GO BOY ’ S BLACK ANGEL put on quite a show to sweep all three first place votes and the blue ribbon in this class of top-quality entries . Bobo and his mare were in complete control and many of the ringsiders were of the opinion that this was the best aged mare seen in years . The reserve honors went to TRIPLE TREAT and Lightning Gregory . The judges were unanimous in their first place choice but the cards were far apart the rest of the way . Tying third was SUNBEAM ’ S PRODU CER and Steve Hill . Steve had his horse working well and stayed right on the rail in good form .
