BUSINESS ASPECTS OF HORSE PRODUCTION TO BE EMPHASIZED IN JANUARY 6-9 1969 STOCKMEN’S SCHOOL IN PHOENIX The business aspects of horse production will be emphasized in the January 6-9, 1969 Stockmen’s School in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. M. E. Ensminger, Director of the School, put it this way: "Thousands of agriculturalists can formulate rations and plan crop rotations. But the Stockmen’s School can tell you how to operate successfully. It’s the mod ern way to keep abreast of new knowledge.’’ The Stockmen’s School will cover in depth the whole gamut of horse production — business aspects, breed ing, feeding, health, management, and marketing. It’s the largest and most complete Stockmen’s Short Course in America. Other pertinent facts about the January 6-9, 1969 Stockmen’s School are: 60 distinguished staff from the U. S., Canada, Mexico and Australia; 144 up-to-the- minute subjects; 5 to 8 sessions each hour from which to choose, with separate courses devoted to each horses, beef cattle (cow-calf and cattle feedlot), and dairy cattle, and a special 10-day limited-enrollment horseshoeing course, January 6-16. Summaries of all lectures will be published in an attractive 8V2” x 11", hardbacked book, of approxi mately 600 pages, known as Livestock Business, with separate sections therein on each horses, beef cattle, and dairy cattle. It will be a limited edition, with only 500 copies printed; there will be no reprints. Livestock Business sells at $27.50, which is what it costs to publish it. Checks should be made payable to "Agri services Foundation” and mailed to Dr. Ensminger at the address given below. C. A.
