EDITOR’S NOTE: We are indebted to Mr. and Mrs.
Jack Delay of Nashville, Tennessee for their interest
in sending us the material for this article. We had
long heard about the famous 1939 trip made to
Madison Square Garden by the "horses from Ten
nessee" but had no material for a story. Mrs.
Delay searched her scrapbooks and came up with
the original clippings from the Nashville Banner
and other newspapers.
