WALKIN’ ON BLUEGRASS by Ed Ashcraft The show season is in full swing here in Kentucky and the competi­ tion is keen, with better horses and more of them than in recent years. No matter which road one drives down here, he will see new stables already completed or being built. One of the newest and nicest is Glen “O” Stables, owned by Mr. and Mrs. Glenmore Stuart of Warsaw. It consists of twelve large stalls with office, tackroom and shower facilities. It also contains some of the finest broodmare stock to be found any­ where. Most of these mares were bought from Harold Terry of Upton, and were in foal to his good stud, GO BOY AGAIN. All of these mares have now foaled and the colts by their sides are positive proof of the ability of this stallion to sire top colts. Glen O’s pride and joy is a black stud colt born on Easter Sunday and aptly named GO BOY AGAIN’S EAS­ TER. He is out of a SHADOW mare and shows all the signs of being a top contender of the future. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart have four horses in training with Harold Terry at present. Their stake horse, SUN DUSTER, has not been shown this year but will be appearing on the show scene soon.
