JUDGES FOR 1968 CELEBRATION ANNOUNCED BY OFFICIALS
Judges for the 1968 Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration have finally been announced The Celebration will be holding its 30th annual show this year with the dates being August 30 through Sentember 7 .

Judging the Walking Horse division saddle classes will be B . H . McChesney , New Orleans , Louisiana- Claude Shaw , Selma , Alabama ; and Clarence T . Goodson , Galax , Virginia Judging the colt classes in the Walking Horse division will be James Rowland , Murfreesboro , Tennessee ; Fulton Frazier , Columbia ’, Tennessee ; and James Stammer , Lewisburg , Tennessee .
The equitation classes will be judged by Nona Rutland , New Orleans , Louisiana , while Welch Greenwell of Shelbina , Missouri will handle the cards in the gaited horse classes .
The 1968 edition of the Celebration is shaping up as the best ever , but this has become commonplace with the Celebration . Every year seems to be better than the last with no end to this delightful cycle in view .
The usual round of events will accompany the Celebration this year as always and we will have complete details of all Celebration and related activities in the August Pre-Celebration issue of the VOICE . RECORD ALBUM ON TENNESSEE WALKING HORSE RELEASED BY KING-ARNOLD ENTERPRISES
The first phonograph album recording the history of the Tennessee Walking Horse has been released by Mike King of Chattanooga , Tennessee and Ron Arnold of Shelbyville . The record begins with the ending of the War Between the States and follows the breed
to present time . This long-playing record album provides close to thirty minutes of listening enjoyment and education . One side is devoted to a chronicle of the breed , while the other side is made up of interviews with some o the leading figures in the business .
Those interviewed on the album are Dan Arnold , farrier from Wartrace , Tennessee ; Toby Green , professional trainer from Shelbyville ; Betty Sam , first woman ever to win the World ’ s Grand Championship ,
