GO BOY’ S INVASION SOLD
As breeding season begins to come into focus and people start making decisions regarding their 1968 breeding program, people in and around North Carolina can take great delight in the availability of a " big-time” breeding horse in their midst. GO BOY’ S INVASION, the 1958 Junior Champion of the World and 1959 Reserve Grand Champion, has recently been moved to Kenny Price Stables in Thomasville, North Carolina to stand the season for his new owners, Dr. and Mrs. James A. Johnson of High Point.
Dr. Johnson, in discussing their purchase of this truly fine stallion, stated that " we have looked for quite a while for the right type of stallion and feel that we have found him in GO BOY’ S INVASION. Mr. Vic Thompson has gone to great lengths to work with us in deciding that this was the right horse, and both Mrs. Johnson and our trainer-manager Kenny Price feel that we have made the right choice.”
Vic Thompson, well-known Walking Horse trainer and promoter from Shelbyville, Tennessee, explained that GO BOY’ S INVASION should provide a bloodline and an individual that would nic w-ell with most
mares. He pointed out that INVASION is a proven sire and, while being bred sparingly but wisely for the past few years, has produced his share of top colts.
Mr. Price pointed out that the Carolina area is ready for a top stallion and that he feels that the
