BOBO and SON STABLES SHELBYVILLE, TENNESSEE PHONE: 615/294-4161 Fis winter in Wisconsin, and not a bad winter for working horses. No ice, not much snow, and everyone seems eager about their two-now-three-year-olds and other young horses, getting them ready for the spring. We have no two-year-old classes on the circuits up here, but many work for the two-year-old classes at the Wisconsin Walking Horse Show. Joan and John Krumm have a big black two-year- old filly by SUN DUST’S FURY; Larry and Gloria Pickhardt have a sorrel roan colt called SUN’S SUG AR FOOT; the Edward Morans’ peppy little gelding in training with Ed McCoy is called DIAMOND JIM; Bernadette Ruckdashel’s is a big white colt by the name of JUBILEE; the Leo Baums’ light chestnut MIDNIGHT SUN filly is called MIDNIGHT MERRY MEMORY. The Walter McDuffees are excited about their black four-year-old mare, DANNY’S BLACK ROSE, in training with Art Titus; Clint and Vern Loos also have a black four-year-old mare — a good one — GO-GO MARY; George McGilvra has two three-year- olds (maybe more by now), a horse and a mare, both coming along well and really walking; Nancy Kieffer reports her three-year-old gelding is making good progress; the Leo Baums also have a three-year-old bay MIDNIGHT SUN mare, SUN’S DREAM GIRL. • • TOP WALKING PONY • • • ELDORADO FOLLY L.
