(Continued from page 26) won both the class and the stake at the Jubilee and was perhaps the most talked-about horse on the show- grounds. Three-year-olds were much in evidence as Buddy Hugh and Joe Martin made it a hard-fought affair in both the class and the stake. SPECIAL DELIVERY was declared the victor in the earlier contest but Joe Martin came back strong in the stake to take the blue with a fine performance on REFLECTION’S SHADOW. Watch for both of these fine horses as they enter Junior competition next year. THREE-YEAR-OLD STUD GELDING SPECIAL DELIVERY Buddy Hugh, up The Amateur Classes presented the most exciting events of the week as we saw several truly top horses perform in the preliminaries and the championship. MOONGLOW JR. was at his best in both classes and was ridden to perfection by Miss Burt Daugette to win the blue in both events. In the Championship Stake, however, they were put into a finw two-horse workout with Mrs. Ann Corbin on her amazing mare, GO BOY’S BLACK ANGEL, the 1968 World Champ ion mare. It was a thrilling contest with MOONGLOW JR. taking the top spot; however, Mrs. Corbin’s per formance indicates that we will see a lot more of this fine team in the future.
