WILSON L. He is also black and possesses the same
natural way of going and the same independent na
ture as ACE’S SENSATION. It will be interesting to
see if the future holds the same fate for this young
colt as it has for his brother.
While Wink Groover ponders his 1969 training pro
gram for ACE’S SENSATION, there will be other
members of the team hard at work in another loca
tion. Now in the process of building a new show stable
in suburban Atlanta, Randall Rollins says that the
new Sugarloaf facility sould be ready in time for train
er Tommy Howell to get their own string of stock in
shape for early shows. ACE’S SENSATION will re
main at the Wink Groover Stables but his most ardent
fans will probably make many a trip from Atlanta to
Etowah between now and Celebration 1969. If they
have anything to do with it . . . and if Mr. Groover
proves true to form . . . ACE’S SENSATION will be
"going for the roses.” You can bet that when this big
black stallion hits the gate on that fateful night in
September, 1969, he will be ready!
