CHAMPIONSHIP STAKE
Judy Tillett and UNTOUCHABLE were the unanimous winners of this championship stake as they staged a repeat of last year’ s victory. All three judges tied this outstanding entry first on their cards as she made a great show against top competition. The reserve award went to JET SECURITY and Jan Wright. Jan and her horse made a fine show but could not upset the 1966 champion. Brooks Piercy and TOP TALENT tied third in this class of tremendous juvenile horses. TOP TALENT has always been a winner and shows no signs of letting up. Brooks showed the horse extremely well.

JUNIOR WALKING HORSE
r ' v * 1 4
CHAMPIONSHIP STAKE
Joe Webb and THE ENTERTAINER made another near-perfect show in winning the Junior title from some top competition. Joe rode his usual masterful class and gained the top tie from two judges. The reserve award went to WARLOCK and John T. Carter. John T and his horse battled all the way but could not upset Joe and his horse. WARLOCK has lots of natural ability and is certainly one to watch in the next few years. The third-place ribbon was won by SUN UP R and J. w. Renfroe. This horse made another good show and received the nod for first place on one of the judges’ cards. J. W. and his horse mind their own business and stay on the rail walking all the time.
