WALKING PONIES, 58 " AND UNDER, RIDERS 15-1 7 YEARS INCLUSIVE
Pam Reed and MIKE’ S MIGHTY MAN were the blue ribbon choices on all three judges’ cards with a spectacular win over some top competition. This little pony has worlds of walking ability and Pam does a great job exhibiting him. LITTLE BIT O’ TROUBLE and Ray Beech tied second to MIGHTY MAN. This combination won the pony title the last two years and this horse is certainly one of the finest ponies showing in the country. Third award went to SHADOW’ S JET and Nancy Escue. Nancy had her horse walking throughout the class and kept the pressure on the leaders from start to finish. JET can get the job done consistently and Nancy is one of the best young exhibitors now showing.

WALKING STALLIONS, FIVE YEARS OLD AND OVER
Doug Wolaver and GO BOY’ S SUNDUST put on a spectacular show to win this class over the best competition in the country. SUNDUST made some thrilling passes in the running walk to capture the first place vote on two of the judges’ cards. Elmore Brock and MR. GLO won the second place tie with a great show. This beautiful bay stud was set up right and never missed a lick. He was shown to best advantage by Elmore, who has a knack for doing just that. Third place in the final tally went to DUKE’ S HANDY MAN and Hershel Talley. Hershel and his horse came in the ring battling for the honors and left in just the same manner. It was a strong performance from beginning to end that was well applauded by the crowd.
