get of sire
One of the most impressive halter classes in Celebration history was captured by MERRY GO BOY. Owned by S. W. Beech of Lewisburg, Tennessee, this horse is one of the finest breeding stallions around. Mr. Beech and his fine assistants are to be commended for the fine manner in which they presented this entry. The reserve honor went to RODGERS PER FECTION for owners Short, Thompson and Gribble of Shelbyvllle and McMinnville, Tennessee. PERFECTION has recently moved to Middle Tennessee and is proving to be one of the most popular breeding horses in history. The third award went to 1965 World Grand Champion TRIPLE THREAT, owned by Koenig and Metzger of Daytona Beach, Florida. TRIPLE THREAT was a real favorite with the crowd and his future as a top sire looks bright
indeed.

CHAMPIONSHIP WALKING WEANLING This championship class saw a repeat performance of the first night’ s Weanling Horse Colt class with the top winners tying in the same order. GO BOY’ S MAGIC MOMENT owned by Mrs. E. A. Self of Mobile, Alabama captured the blue ribbon and the title. The reserve honors went to SHADOW MIDNIGHT GHOST for owners Mr. and Mrs. J. Mac Carter of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Tying third was STATE LY’ S BLACK SHADOW for owners Wiley Messick and Son of Murfreesboro. These three horses exhibited plenty of natural ability and bloom. The handlers did an excellent job of showing their stock and the judges did a good job of tying the class.
