Gentlemen:
I noticed in your magazine for September concerning GO BOY’ S SUN DUST, the World Champion for 1967, you said this horse was not shown as a two-year-old. Dr. Blanton bought him as a yearling and brought him to my stable. I broke him and showed him 12 times as a two-year-old. Thanks,

Dear Mr. Spencer:
I am a faithful subscriber to the VOICE. I wrote the following poem, concerning a show mare, in my English Literature class recently. I am a sophomore at Columbia State Community College, Columbia, Tenn. Before entering college, I showed my mare, HANDSHAKER’ S TWIST, for three years under the guidance of Dot Warren of Spring Hill, Tenn.
I enjoy my collection of the VOICE. Since I have most all the issues, I refer to them quite often. Keep up the good work. Sincerely,
Bonnie Ann Pyles Bon-Al Stables Route 1 Chapel Hill, Tenn.
FAREWELL LOVE
Farewell, love, and all thy reins forever, Rest ye on green plush carpet, No more fragile care ye receive, No more ovations ye receive, Turn ye to your airy home, Hear thy nature at thy best. Beautiful were you that night, Ye danced in perfect form Wearing that red rose necklace. But thou faded as that of love, Wear no more titles, or red roses to lighten your heart.
Ye now wear that of mother-to-be as Nature meant, farewell love.
