He had been tied third in the Age Stallion Class on Thursday night. As the class built up into a frenzy, involving several other horses of doubt­ less popularity with the crowd, experienced Walking Horse observers forgot about the other contenders and turned their attention to a show horse that was getting better and better with every round. His trainer had stayed on the rail, where he should have been, and showed his horse to perfection. GO BOY’S CHATTERBOX, after a grueling and hard fought workout, was still true in his gaits and in perfect form as he made his last pass before the big grandstand. It was only after the last workout was almost over that the crowd was tempted to forget the other events within the ring and notice the bay Stallion that was “coming on strong.” But by then it was too late!
