Incoi- porated, to establish within our own ranks a means ol inspection and control of training and showing of Tennessee Walking Horse. This, in our opinion, should do much to take our breed “off the defensive and put us on the offensive” regarding this issue. We will keep you posted on the progress of this program. Nancy Seagrooves Durham, North Carolina shows in Ladies classes on DIAMOND JIM. Dude is showing SUN’S TROUBLEMAKER for Mr and Mrs. Robert Marshall, Brookneal, Virginia. This horse was 4th in the two-year-old gelding class at the Celebration last year. These are just a few of the hoises that Dude has show­ ing out of his stable this year and with a barn full of good ones, he seems extremely at home in Creedmoor. Bob Rigsby of Huntsville owns a MIDNIGHT SUN stallion named STAN THE MAN that Don will be show­ ing in age classes, and W. E. Broughton is proud of his Of his eight two-year-olds, four are jointly owned by Dr. Cooley and Dr. Gillespy, of Boaz. Curtis Limbaugh from Chattanooga also has a black stud colt that has attracted a lot of attention. He is by SIR WINSTON and shows all the fine attributes of his famous sire. Don has great hopes for this colt. Bob Carpenter of Mobile, has a good colt by SPUR’S CLOWN that is doing well. LITTLE MERRY MAN, a fine Walking Pony owned by Mack Kelly of Gadsden, Alabama, is also showing improvement and should be ready shortly. FOR SALE TWO OF THE BEST AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT. It is reported that APRIL LOVE brought the highest price paid for a mare in many a year and if her per­ formance at Columbia is any indication as to her ability, she was well worth it. “Red” Gochncaur has a keen eye for top stock and should do
