The Bailey-Montgomery Stables in Shelbyville , Tennessee was again the scene of the Annual Production
• Sale of GO BOY ’ S SHADOW and PIDDLEY . This was the third big year for this fast growing sale and it was indeed another in the line of top sales .
Auctioneer Tom McCord did a good job keeping the sale moving smoothly and the groundmen and clerks were very instrumental in the success enjoyed this year .
The sale took place on Tuesday , August 30 during the week of the Celebration . Some of SHADOW ’ S and PIDDLEY ’ S top colts were sent through the sale and buyers were very cooperative throughout the day long auction .
The Bailey-Montgomery Stables was also the scene of a party for visitors . A delicious barbecue supper and plenty of free liquid refreshments were served to all who stopped by . It was a most delightful get together and was seemingly enjoyed by all on hand .
