1966-Voice Of The Tennessee Walking Horse 1966 October Voice RS | Page 8

/HIS PICTURE graphically represents the feeling of the Celebration. Everything appears to be out of focus and yet one can readily see all that is happening, though not quite clearly. We chose this particular photo because it has action and motion and yet seems to convey the message of the big show itself. Here is a perfect illustration of how it all must appear to the judges ... a fleeting glimpse of a horse as he passes in the running walk ... a vague consciousness of the presence of the mass of viewers who are sitting ready to applaud or condemn their decision. About the only thing that is clearly obvious is the railing of the big ring . . . giving ample proof that it is all very real and that there are, in fact, horses and people and that this is, in fact, the 1966 Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration.
