TWO YEAR OLD WALKING GELDINGS
Only 18 entries competed for the championship of this class but they more than made up for the lack of quantify with plenty of quality. CASTRO ' S. BONANZA with J. W. Renfroe doing the riding took the ribbon for top spot. SHADRACK S BOURBON was reserve winner with Jimmy Holloway doing the honors. POST MARKED and Mack Motes kept the pressure on the two pacesetters from start to finish and tied third. These two year olds did a fine job and should be watched for future honors.

FOUR YEAR OLD WALKING GELDINGS
Wallace Brandon and ME AND MY SHAD OW were the pacesetters in this class of twenty geldings who took the rail in this junior championship preliminary. Wallace had his horse doing three gaits in tying on top. Second place went to GO BOY ' S NODDING STAR with Hershel Talley doing the work. Kenny Price and SUPER SPORT were in there scrapping all along but really made an impression in the last workout. This exciting class ended the Monday evening session on a good note.

WALKING MARES, FIVE YEARS OLD AND OVER
SUN ' S QUEEN CATHY and Robert Burris took the top spot in this class, a preliminary to the Grand Championship Stake. Robert had his horse working right and showed him to best advantage. APRIL LOVE, a famed mare of the breed, tied reserve for Albert Rowland in the saddle. This stop mare stayed on the heels of Burris and his horse and made him work for the blue. ROYAL BLOOD and Mike Janeway were the judges third choice among the 30 entries who competed.
