One significant fact regarding this show and others in California is the lack of audience at the show. We learned that most horse shows here are not sponsored by civic organizations as they are in other locations. Exper­ ience has shown that the participation of a civic organization in a horse show will bring out the local people to see that show and to back their organiza­ tion. Despite this, however, it was a great show. Complete results are reported in the “Horse Show Results” found elsewhere in this issue.
