There are several good horses now in training that
the Fairwav Stables own. These are: MARK OF PER
FECTION and PERFECTION’S GAY LAD, both at
Joe Webb Stables; WALKER’S PERFECTION. MA
JOR’S BOLD SIR and PERFECTION’S MODEL, in
training with j. D. Landress in Sacramento and PER
FECTION'S TOP MAN, in training with Glen Miller
in Pullman, Washington.
“Verd” points out that he has horses for sale at all
times and will work closely with anyone wanting show,
horses, brood marcs or colts from his stables. He has
worked hard to obtain and to breed good stock and
wishes to see West Coast interest grow.
If you are ever in California and get homesick for
Middle Tennessee . . . just go by for a visit at the Fair
way Stables in Concord. In a few minutes you will forget
that you are so far away from home.
Our thanks to Verd and Virginia Walker for the cor
diality that they showed us on our visit to California,
and our sincere thanks to them for allowing us to print
their story. We hope to sec them at the Celebration in
Tennessee next vear. Thev deserve it!
