1966-Voice Of The Tennessee Walking Horse 1966 May Voice RS | Page 47

MERRY BOY . . . considered by many to have been one of the truly outstanding horses produced by the Walking Horse breed. This stallion sired many of the horses whose progeny have lead to the great horses we know today. Note the strong shoulders, short back and muscled rear end. His head was fine and his neck massive. Although he spent much of his breeding career in Tennessee, this sire also made a grand contribution to the expansion of the breed while he was in Mississippi. This is his story! May, 1966 49
