YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND
THE 6TH ANNUAL
I JUNIOR WELFARE ASSN.
One of the finest facilities available for a Tennessee Walking
Horse training or breeding operation, this beautiful piece of pro
perty is located eight (8) miles north of Guntersville, Alabama,
on Highway 79.
Consisting of 66 choice acres of good land with a 2-acre lake,
this property has been worked to fit a horse training stable. It
has an upper and a lower pasture and two riding rings, and it is
all under fence. The lake is fed in summer by a pipeline from
the TVA and is stocked with bream and bass. Two acres of hard
wood trees form excellent shade for grazing stock.
The main stable has 24 box stalls with a 317-foot-long riding hall.
The hay loft will hold 6,000 bales of hay and each stall has an
opening for easy feeding. Each stali has automatic watering. The
stable is fully equipped with an automatic walker, tack rooms,
cross-tie areas, etc. The stable has a 9’ x 12’ air-conditioned of
fice with an adjoining dressing room. Extra buildings include an
enclosed area for tractors and additional equipment, and another
building for brood mares and colts.
Trainer’s or manager’s residence contains three bedrooms, bath,
living room, and kitchen-dining area with air conditioner. Central
heating uses natural gas. Pure water is supplied by a modern
well pump. The home is four years old.
