Greenville is searching for a good spring date. We know other shows will choose a date from the vacant weekends. Last year South Carolina had twenty-five point shows, so we know we’ ll have as many or more before the show season is over.

GREATER CINCINNATI HORSE SHOW PLANS ANNOUNCED
Dates for the Greater Cincinnati Horse Show this year have been set for May 5-8, it was announced on January 14 by JACK C. MAIER, executive vice president and general manager of Frisch’ s Restaurants. Mr. Maier was re-elected as head of the Association for the fourth consecutive year.
The four-day event will be held at the Cincinnati Gardens and will draw entrants for twenty states. The Horse Show at the Gardens is the only indoor show of its kind in this part of the country and will be the scene of keen competition for over $ 15,000 in prizes and ribbons that will be awarded to the winners.
Stabling will be both indoor and in outdoor tents, according to Maier. The classes are as follows: Saddle Horse( three-gaited andfive-gaited), Fine Harness, Tennessee Walking, Arabian, Regular Working Hunter, Green Working Hunter, Junior Hunters, Open Jumper Division, Working Hunter- amateur owner, Pony Working Hunter Section and Roadster Pony.
