classes by Mrs. Turrentine. Son of Luminaire was undefeated last year in the two-year-old classes, but
hasn’ t been shown this year. Go Boy Again Image, another horse owned by Mr. Hudson, won the Aiken
Stake Class, is a black four-year-old. Go Boy Again Bay Lady, owned by CAROL CLARY, will be in the show ring in the Juvenile and Ladies Classes. Carol’ s mother, Mrs. J. M. CLARY, willbeshowingLuminaire’ s Radiant Lady. These are just a few of the horses that
will be bearing the Gregory Stable colors this season. Aside from training and showing, Lightning has
judged many of the top shows in the country, including the Breeders Association Futurity year before last; and Harrisburg, Chicago, Fort Worth, Atlanta, Lewisburg and Knoxville shows, just to name a few. He also has broken and started many horses that
were sold and went on to make top horses. The real pride and joy of " Lightning” and Ruth
Gregory is a little " filly” that was born on Christmas Eve, 1965. Her name is Margaret Katherine, and she is the daughter of TOMMY GREGORY and
,.. RY BOZARD GREGORY. Tommy still spends much " T \ at the stable working with his dad, and rides tm \ hp show ring quite frequently. Their other son,“ l, fifteen years of age, and attends Northwood i Hiffh in Greenville. His main interest in the horse business is in photography. It’ s a good field,
and we wish him much success. An interesting note regarding F. W. Gregory is his
nickname. Mr. Gregory is known throughout the Walk-
Worse World as an easy-going fellow, slow to anger, hift^firm when the need arises. If you ask him about
v rhrknanm he will smile and say " Well... as a kid“ wasn’ t very fast so they named me ' Lightning’.”

holiness today. He has been regarded as a success-
s trainer for many years and has been directly and indirectly involved in many phases of activity. He
readily admit that he has made some mistakes, but who hasn’ t? He does know however, that we « re on the threshold of new leadership and opportunity in the Walking Horse business. He is glad
