GO BOY’S "DOBBIN” vs. A ONE-HORSE SLEIGH TELL THE TRUTH, JUDGE” Hits the Top Ten with Walking Horse Enthusiasts We doubt if the new record released by JIMMY RICHARDSON of Shelbyville, Tennessee, will ever really hit the "Top Ten” in the nation, but you can be sure it is a real "smash” with Tennessee Walking Horse fans everywhere. Jimmy wrote both lyrics and music for this song and titled it "Tell the Truth, Judge.” It is a catchy tune and his words indicate that this song writer really knows the horse business. He should! He has spent about as much time in the center of the ring as anyone in the country. His spec ialty, of course, is the famous Jimmy Richardson Organ Accompaniment to some of the major horse shows in the nation. Jimmy has been playing the organ for horse shows for over 10 years and is considered a major attract ion as such. He has a series of long-playing albums which he has recorded on the Marcel label. Some are strictly "Horse Show Music,” while others are for general listening pleasure. If your local record shop does not carry Jimmy’s records you may pur chase them by writing to the Marcel Organ Records, Shelbyville, Tennessee. You should all have a copy of "Tell the Truth, Judge,” as it will probably be a great consolation to you when your favorite horse ties second in the show ring. Captain ROBERT H. WOOD, Commanding Officer at the Naval Air Technical Training Center in Mem phis, Tennessee, and a well-known Tennessee Walk ing Horse fancier, takes advantage of a rare Memphis snowfall and guides this old-fashioned sleigh over the fairways of the Naval Air Station Golf Course. Mrs. Wood joins the fun and rides co-pilot for the enjoy able event The sleigh, an 1880 model, was purchased in Upper New York state and restored to an almost- new condition by Captain Wood. He has been waiting all winter for the snow in which to test the results of the overhaul. While having some difficulty keeping her stride because of snow balling up on her feet, the champion Tennessee Walker demonstrated her versatility by switching from saddle to harness.
