Setting Sun’s Little Son was one of the most out standing Junior stallions in the Carolinas. Jerry showed Little Son in the open stake classes during 1965 and was very successful. This very fine sorrel stallion is owned by Mr. SAM JOHNSON from Bas- terville, Virginia. Mr. S. J. SHIPWASH of Ten Mile, Tennessee, owns a wonderful black filly of which he should be very proud. This three-year-old, named Shadow’s Society Lady, was shown by Jerry during the '65 season as a two-year-old and was very successful. She won the two-year-old classes at Madison, North Carolina, and Chatham, Virginia, as well as other classes. Jerry has very high hopes for this filly in 1966. Jerry is at present breaking a coming three-year- old gelding to canter. Known as Diamond Jim, he is owned by Miss NANCY SEAGROVE and Mr. S. Y. HARGROVE of Durham. This gelding, with his style and great way of going, should have a very success ful future. Mr. DON STONE, Durham, North Carolina, owns a black stallion that is a coming two-year-old. Jerry worked this colt for us and, from our point of view, he has the right movements, the color and the build to make one of the top colts in the South. Jerry is working a junior horse for Mr. W. B. CALD WELL of South Boston, Virginia. Mr. Caldwell says he hopes the roan colt, Grey Son’s Image by Grey Son, will be a top amateur stallion in another season. Jerry and his wife ANN and Mr. and Mrs. Stanfield welcome each of you to their barn and invite you to stop by and say hello when you see their banner at the shows. Jerry has the ambition and the know-how, plus the personality, to make one of the top young trainers to ever hit the south. When Jerry and his stock hit the show ring in '66, we know we will see a great show. The Stanfield Stables is located just off Highway 15 in Creedmoor. GOOD LUCK, JERRY!
