RIDING WALKING MARES OR GELDINGS Bobby Hembree and former world's cham­ pion gelding Go Boy's Falcon captured the blue in the Celebration’s first class ever for riders 10 years and under. Bobby, though young in years, showed his horse well in grabbing the honors over several other fine horses. Tying second was little George S. Bayoud, Jr. on Little Red Rooster. Third place was nailed down by Bumble Bee with Claudia Woody in the saddle. All the youngsters who competed in this class handled themselves well and are to be commended for doing such a good job. The class was well received by the crowd and promises to be a feature in future Celebrations. Jimmy Waddell worked his horse to perfection in capturing top prize over the other 48 entries in this crowd pleasing class. Steve Hill and Go Boy's Lady Ann put on a dazzling show and pressed the winner all the way to tie reserve. Shadow's Primrose with Preach Fleming in the saddle stayed with the contenders throughout and came in third in the final balloting. This class was full of good horses and kept the crowd in an excited mood. Jimmy kept his horse in the thick of the fight and really turned him on m the final workout to top all the other contenders. Quiet Bud Dunn spoke loud in the saddle as he guided Sun Dust Thor to the second position in this 21-horse field. Bud never says a whole lot except when it is time to collect ribbons and then he is al­ ways there to get his share. Sun Dust Thor was well collected in both gaits and really put on quite a show. Third place honors went to Gismo Joe and Richard Pate. This horse really kept up the pace and showed many people why he is draw ing such good notices.
