VOICE MANAGING EDITOR
INVITED TO SERVE ON
BOARD OF ADVISORS OF
AGRISERVICES FOUNDATION
In a letter announcing the over
all plans of the non-profit Agriser
vices Foundation (see page 21), Dr.
M. E. Ensminger, Ph.D., noted
Horse and Agriculture specialist,
invited the Managing Editor of
the VOICE of the Tennessee Walk
ing Horse magazine to serve on
the Board of Advisors of this new
ly established educational organi
zation.
After reviewing the proposed
plans of this major undertaking on
behalf of horse lovers everywhere,
your Editor was prompted to ac
cept this invitation with honor. In
our estimation, the Agriservices
Foundation represents the most
elaborate undertaking ever started
on behalf of the horse world, and
we, as representatives of the Ten
nessee Walking Horse World are
indeed grateful to be a part of
this program.
It seems imperative at this time,
that we point out that we feel the
influence of the Tennessee Walk
ing Horse on the overall horse bus
iness will become more pronounced
as the business continues to grow.
This breed is well known for its
versatility and it should play an
increasingly important role in the
future of horses in general in this
country. It is for this reason that
we feel the Tennessee Walking
Horse should be well represented
in any major program regarding
the future of the horse business
and welcome the opportunity to
serve on the Board of Advisors of
this Foundation.

SCIENCE SCHOOL
A great deal of trouble and ef
fort has been put forth to get the
Horse Science School of Dr. M. E.
Ensminger, scheduled for Middle
Tennessee State College (see page
7.) Needless to say, it was set up
here, primarily for the Tennessee
Walking Horse lovers throughout
this area. We are going to make an
honest effort to help make it a
most successful event and are mak
ing an earnest plea to PROFES-
