Thoroughpin: a soft, puffy en­
largement in the web of the hock.
Bone spavin: any bony enlarge.-
ment on the bones of the hock.
Bog spavin: any inflammation or
swelling of the soft tissues of the
hock.
Knocked-down hip (hipped): a
fracture of the point of the hip.
Over in the knee: a bending for­
ward of the knee as a result of in­
jured tendons, foot trouble, or
hard work at too early an age.
Capped elbow: enlargement at
the point of the elbow.
Shoe boil: running sore at the
elbow.
