(Continued from page 33) TEMPLETON STABLES LONNIE TEMPLETON of Des Moines, Iowa, has recently opened up his own Walking Horse training operation. He has been active in various phases of the business for several years and has worked horses for quite a few people in his part of the country. Lonnie was contacted at the Mid-West Walking Horse sale about his new training stable and he noted that he would have a 17- stall barn with some good horses under saddle by the first of the year. His stable is located at Commings, Iowa, and he is eager to assist. Walking Horse enthusiasts in the Iowa area with their training. LYNWOOD STABLES Word comes from Mrs. HOWARD UTTER that "things have rather snowballed recently recently on top of all the other work going on at the barn when Mr. Utter purchased a fine new stallion from the owners of the old Lakeside Farms of Gun- tersville. Alabama (now located in Montgomery)- This stallion, known as Go Boy’s Millionaire, brings a fine show record and top papers to the Akron, Indiana, area, and has attracted a lot of attention among breeders in this part of the country.” In addition to this horse, Mr. Utter purchased a three-year-old named Go Bov's Bay Lad from Mr. C. E. CLEMENT of Hickory, N. C. This horse is considered tops by many who have seen him, and trainer SONNY PARSONS, who received his 'basic training" under the capable hands of GEORGE WITT of Athens, Ala., maintains that they should be able to take on the best next season.
