LONNIE TEMPLETON of Des
Moines, Iowa, has recently opened
up his own Walking Horse training
operation. He has been active in
various phases of the business for
several years and has worked horses
for quite a few people in his part of
the country. Lonnie was contacted
at the Mid-West Walking Horse sale
about his new training stable and
he noted that he would have a 17-
stall barn with some good horses
under saddle by the first of the year.
His stable is located at Commings,
Iowa, and he is eager to assist.

CLEMENT of Hickory, N. C. This
horse is considered tops by many
who have seen him, and trainer
SONNY PARSONS, who received
his 'basic training" under the capable
hands of GEORGE WITT of Athens,
Ala., maintains that they should be
able to take on the best next season.
