Always a good contest... the Owner- Amateur Mare Class proved true to form this year and the UNTOUCHABLE, with Sharon Carlton up, remained true to her 1964 form to win the class. She tied first on two cards to win the blue. LADY
GODIVA, with Mrs. Frank Parnell up, put on another good demonstration of perfect
harmony between horse and rider to get the red ribbon. Dr. A. R. Dalton, who
has been showing with great success this season, pushed all contenders with his FASCINATION RHYTHM to tie third. Amateurs and Mares seem to work well together and the entire class was one of the best seen.
CLASS 37- WALKING GELDINGS, FOUR-YEARS-OLD AND OVER
Labeled " the horse to beat in 1964 "... HILL ' S PERFECTION proved to be just that in the Aged Gelding class. Steve
Hill, one of the most successful blue ribbon winners in the business, showed the big gelding in true championship form to get the tie on all three cards. GOLDEN SUNDUST, showing a touch of the championship form of his famous namesake, made a strong bid for top honors to win the red ribbon with Jack Warren in the saddle. Wallace Brandon, showing the top rated TOWN and COUNTRY, came on strong during the last workout to show his best and was good enough to tie third in this greatest of all gelding classes.

CLASS 38- WALKING PONIES, 58” & UNDER, RIDERS 14 & UNDER
Again proving that the kids of today will be the great amateurs and professionals of tomorrow... the 58 " and under Pony Class provided the crowd with a true exhibition of what is to come. These mitesized riders approach the contest with much enthusiasm and are a credit to the Walking Horse World. LITTLE BIT O’ TROUBLE, ridden for the
second year by Ray Beech took the blue after tying first on all three cards. Chuck Chitwood, always a good contender was second on SIR HENRY ' S ECHO and Jerry Jester carried his SETTING SUN’ S LITTLE MAN to win third place.
